I am trying a very early cultivar this year - Cairngorm-  which matures from September onwards. It does say that this is not as hardy as later varieties, but I hope to have eaten them by November.

These were sown in a deep tray today.

The maincrop ones are Oarsman. Thought I'd try something different there too  :lol: These go through from November to March, it says  :nowink:

I did oarsman last season in the PT. Great leeks.
