If you like flat beans, Goldfield climbing beans have done really well for me.  I've grown them for the first time this year and the flavour and texture are excellent, even when they are large.

They really do go golden yellow when ready to pick, so are easy to find as well  :)

I've grown Goldfield before too - very buttery, I thought, once cooked.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

I've got a lovely row of really strong looking Neckargold - with not a flower to be seen  :( Don't know what's happened there  ???

I tried some yellow french beans before with little result, about 3 beans each year. Something d'oro, they didn't do at all well.

I grew some Rocquencourt one year. Best beans ever in terms of productivity, but the worst beans ever in terms of texture. Never again. After the first meal, I just left them as green manure.

Favourite climbers are Cherokee Trail of Tears and Blue Coco.   I also like Minidor as a dwarf yellow bean, although it is tricky to germinate, but lovely and productive when you eventually get a plant.
