Butternut Squashes
« on: August 13, 2014, 13:12 »
Anyone got any idea why some but not all of our butternut squashes start to go brown on the end and rot?
What am I doing wrong.

They've probably not been pollinated.

It pays to hand pollinate the female flower either using using a soft brush to transfer pollen from a male flower, or less subtly just by stuffing the stamen into it.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?
