Tomato rot!!
« on: August 03, 2014, 10:17 »
Hi all I was feeling pleased with myself having grown some tomatoes from seed but I now see that I have a black mark on the ripest tomato. I think this is related to lack of calcium. The weather has been warm and these plants are in grow bags. Appreciate any thoughts on how to save the remainder of the crop?!

Many thanks

HH

You need to keep the compost moist all the time.

I've got it too but I haven't been as diligent as I should have given the heat we've had recently.
