Tomato type please
« on: July 26, 2014, 18:10 »
Hi,
I bought these on offer at B&Q as our seeds didn't set very well and we ended up with just one seedling, but they were just labelled as 'tomato' can anyone identify the type please?

It could be anything really.

Regular leaf.

Lobed fruit.

Could be marmande. Could be another of hundred varieties.

Chances are they are something fairly well known if they were from B&Q, as they do not usually stock unusual varieties in my experience.

So probably Marmande (as was suggested by spuriousmonkey). And if so, you can look forward to them getting a big larger yet  ;)
