We have recently moved to Anglesey and have inherited fab gardens, however, at the side of the property there is a fuschia bush that has gone into over drive and is almost completely covering our kitchen window. Is it too soon/late to cut it back now?

I'd cut it back to windowsill height now, so you get some light indoors, and do some proper pruning in Spring when the plants start growing again

Leaving some growth on them over the worst of the winter months will provide some protection for the base of the plant.

I have one outside my front door, cut it down to nothing in the autumn, got to cut it back again   as we can't get in the front door.  Fuschias quite like the brutal life, they prefer being pot bound for example. As always on here ask one question get two or three answers.

I had an outdoor one (gracilis variety) that would grow like mad, so I cut it back partway through the season (Chelsea chop?) and it still produced flowers but more of them because you get more side shhots produced - similar to what you do with ordinary ones.
