Welcome to the site. I'm pretty new here too and it looks like we have a bit in common looking at those pictures. It'll be hard work, but the rewards are incredible and worth every ounce of sweat. That said, we decided to do it with no chemicals so it's been dug out, bit by bit.
If I was to offer some advice, it's to plant stuff as you clear. And any bits you don't plant stuff in, get it covered with something - membrane, flattened boxes.
Another thing that spurred me on was to take a picture from the same spot at the end of each day you've done there so you can see the progress by flipping through the photos.
