I just put my first lot in 10 days ago and they are starting to come up despite the cooler weather here.  I am growing little round ones in pots though because I don't have a lot of space.

We do have a naughty step you know

I grow Autumn King 2 Carrots each year but don't sow them until the last week in May, we don't eat Carrots until October & that's just when they come into harvest. Autumn King 2 are a great Carrot & just sit there all winter waiting to be lifted.

I till & Hoe the soil right up to sowing time then draw 3 drills sow the seeds, water in well, cover with Enviromesh because of the fly & then don't do anything with them other than water when needed.

Because of the Fly I don't lift the Mesh to weed, I just put up with any weeds that sprout.
