Going to give an onion called white Ebenezer a try out. I have bought a bag of sets at the local GC. The blurb says they are a good keeper and give a good yield. I live in a warm climate so they may do well but I was wondering if anybody has tried growing them ?

Ha Ha ! sorry I live down in the SW of France. It is not quite as arid as the Sahara Gets very hot in the summer and can be vey dry at times during the high summer but last year it was a very wet spring garden suffered a lot. The soil is lovely when the moisture is just right but when wet is very sticky and waterlogs , then the sun comes back on it and it sets like concrete Just this year I am starting a total soil improvement by manuring the parts I can quite heavily with farmyard manure which the local farmer will deliver free of charge as much as I want so it makes sense to get some in
