Dahlia advice
« on: February 06, 2014, 19:35 »
We've moved into a house that was owned by an elderly couple who clearly used to love their garden but I think old age meant that in the last few years they haven't done a lot too it . When I was clearing the greenhouse today I have discovered a pile of dahlia tubers, I think about 20 or so, what do you think the likelihood is of them coming to anything or should I just give them up? I would say they've been in the greenhouse about 2 yrs. thanks all!!

If the tubers are plump and healthy looking, they may possibly grow, but after two years they are likely to be shrivelled and best sent to the compost bin I fear
