How long do January King last?

I've still got 7 big January King on the plot and was wondering how long they will stay in decent condition? Do they just start splitting when it get's warmer?

They might split, as they have so much water

In more normal years I have had them stand just fine until around mid -March, when they started to grow slightly again and then split a bit.

Now though ...... with it being so mild, I am not sure

Looks like I've been lucky so far, but I'll keep an eye on them in case they do split. Would be nice to have cabbage through until March and maybe then store one in the fridge for April before the first of the Hispi are ready.

About 10 minutes if you chew slowly

If they are of good size and you just want them to keep, you could try going all around each one with a spade, fairly close to the stem. It will cut a lot of the root away meaning any growth will slow right down, but will leave enough roots going straight down for the cabbages to stay fresh until needed.
