We've been to a big garden centre today at Wentworth between Barnsley & Rotherham & we noticed they had some swede plants, I think they were called Boreo or something like that & they were about 6" tall. It said on the label that they would be ready to harvest from October onwards, is that possible as that seems very quick.

What the  label didn't tell you that they should have been planted out  months ago, and that the little plants will be stressed from having such a small rootball, so it's not worth buying them.
