The plants (Hunter from Simply Seeds) in my tunnel now have fruits about 10 inches long with a maximum diameter of about 5 inches. They are off-white in colour.

What size and colour are they when they're ready to be harvested? Is there any other factor that denotes "harvestability" such as softness of texture?
