hi my chicks are now 5 weeks old :)
when could i put them out in there own run and coop :unsure:

If you still have them on heat, I would stop the heat during the day and gradually let them outside in a run in fine dry weather.  You will be able to tell if they are warm enough if they are not all trying to huddle together.  It is a case of try it out and see how they are.

thanks. they have been in my shed  for a week.
no heat for two days. they seem fine but perhaps i will give them another
week :)

On fair and warm days they could go in their own covered run during the day. Just keep an eye on them in case they are huddling together indicating they are cold. We have had a couple of fairly cool nights so too soon for leaving out then. :)

They are usually great escape artists so make sure your run is really secure.   ;)
