since playing fisty cuffs with mr fox, elvis has not eaten very much at all.

after trawling through all my chook books, noticed they can have a tin of cat food as long as its one of the fish varieties.

so ive upset the cat and stolen a tin of her food and put it outside for the chickens.

Elvis has stuffed himself silly, and is now strutting around the garden and seems to have grown 3 inches. its the best ive seen him look for ages.

What great news Babe. Never tried the hend with cat food, maybe I will as it is cheaper than grapes!

Hope Elvis continues to thrive, you've obviously done all the right things with him! These little creatures can be so resilient...just hope my little silkie is as tough!

Glad to hear Elvis back on the mend. I give my chooks a tin of cat food once a month or so and they love it, not been giving fish though!
