Holes in Swiss chard
« on: August 01, 2013, 12:19 »
Hi

I've never grown this before. The leaves don't look that good and have very large holes. I'm still eating them but I'm wondering if it's normal for them to look so battered. Do you guys cover them?

Thanks

Snails love them, that's the problem. I just accept that. You could try slug pellets around the plants if you want better looking leaves.
