I'd be tempted to suggest taking her to the vet but some would say it's to much of an expense.  The danger I could see is getting an infection into any raw patches.

If she was mine I'd take advice from a vet to see if there is any medicatin that could be used. :?

Thank you Aunt Sally. I am quite happy to take her to the Vet. I will take her after the New Year. I will let you know how I get on.

Is that bumblefoot? It looks horrid

I used to keep rats (yes, rats) and that was something they were meant to be susceptable to but luckily mine never developed it.

No, that is not what Gertie has. The whole of both feet are covered in warty looking lumps. Is that bumble foot on your pics? It looks very painful- poor things.

The good news is that its definately not bumble foot.

It could be a fungal infection or viral if you think they are warts. If any bits come off and leave sore open areas, I'd advise that you spray the areas with the good old purple spray.
It doesn't look nice but I don't think it will bother you bird overly much.

I think you meant the pictures of midwife's bird are NOT bumblefoot Bodger (did you leave the not out ?)

Yes I'd reccomend purple spray too and check for raw patches frequently.

Hi, the vet thought it was scaley leg. He gave her an injection told me to continue with oil or vaseline and to take her back in 2 weeks. He did keep comparing her to a budgie though, which worried me a bit
