hi just a quick question, i have had to change the make of pellets that i give my girls(from loyds to farmgate) now i am having prolems with soft shelled eggs. is it the pellets or could it be the hot weather at moment? They have grit and oyster shell Andy46

cut out all treats for a week and don't let them free range - this will show if it is the pellets or not.

Just to say I have used farmgate pellets several time and haven't had problems .

One of my girls has been laying soft shelled eggs and I have not changed anything so I have put it down to the unusually hot weather.  I have as joyfull said cut out treats to make sure she gets the right balance in her diet.
