Ok so I made some nettle tea., but it stewed for four weeks instead of two  .  Opened it up tonight - cripes talk about stinky.  it was horrible and had mould on the top!  Can I still use it?  Put the slimy nettle on the compost heap stinking the plot out.   Now got home and can't get the smell off my hands, have scrubbed and scrubbed any tips PLEASE?

I think the plants will love it.  Put it on toms, beans and sweet peas.  Then start another. 
Tip:  Use rubber gloves.

Sounds about right  but yes it's better if you use gloves same with comfrey, I let mine stew for at least 4 weeks

We tend to get the whole tea system muddled up by the end of the growing season!

We religiously start off with one nettle butt, one comfrey butt and one liquid manure butt.

By September, we've made more and forgotten which one to refill, so by the end of the year we have three butts with the same mixed up jollop in them!

Veg don't seem to mind though..;0)

Sweet corn will love it nettle tea as it is a bit higher in Nitrates than comfrey tea.

I have a continuous water but going all the time.. Just keep adding comfrey and water in the top and out the bottom comes the tea.. simples
