The Fox, The hens and ME,
« on: December 29, 2007, 14:24 »
Hi everyone and I wish you all a happy and Prosperous New Year

I have added extra strands to my electric fence as a precaution against Mr fox, I was also told that fox's do not like change around there area, so I have strung up cd's which swing in the wind. I move a wheelbarrow every day and am about to make two scarecrows, one to be seated on a chair near the fox's run. The other sited near to the hens. I am not going to pen the hens in as if the fox gets access he could kill all of them, and I could not bear the devastation if it did.
Yes all my girlds have names, they follow me around the field and even jump up next to me when I am sat on the chairs near them.
I would rather lose one than all of them in one go.
Coloured windmills coming next week as well as a wind sock

Am I mad!! or addicted to poultry? :!:  :?:
Happiest in the countryside.
Breathe deeply, and let the butterflies fly in formation!
