[The Golden Heap]

Morning does the leaf colour look a little odd, this is my autumn garlic and has grown very well, I had brown leaves last year upon which I harvested this looks a little purple, any advise?

Mum is very wise indeed, and I happen to agree with her! 

The leaves in question all appear to be the oldest ones, and they've been through a lot since last November - wouldn't you be feeling a bit rough round the edges? The plants look otherwise healthy - snip the offending leaves off if you don't like the look of them!
