old briggs and stratton 3hp engine
engine now mounted back onto my landmaster 100 the only problem i have now is that it starts fine but under load it is not very happy and loses power any ideas

hi sounds like the piston rings could be worn theres a product called engine restore its put in with the oil and coates the cylinder bore making a seal i used it on a briggs engine its still going gets topped up every  oil change jezza

I had the same problem, it turned out to be the carb diaphraghm
