I have 5 of the 4 pot ones in a stack and 3 3 pot ones stacked, strawberries are in the bottom layers ofthe quad stack, waiting for the seeds I planted to grow big enough to fill out the pots, add 15 more pots along the shelf on the fence and I should have a few plants, if not this year then next. about 5 out of 30 have appeared so far, the tray of 75 hasnt produced anything yet.

I picked up two blueberries which appear to still be alive.

I have had success from dahlias, alliums, lillies and freesias that I have bought from Poundland.  I also bought the mixed bean packs from last year which included broad beans, french, sugar snap peas, butter beans, black eyed beans and canelloni beans.  They were really good value packs - but sadly, they aren't doing them this year  :(

I also buy the BFB, string in a can and fleece, all of which I have found to be good value.  I also like the dibbers they have sold previously there.

I had strawberries in a 3 tier stacker, I had no problems which it falling over (which is surprising), but it was hard to keep watered!  Although we had a wet summer I just couldn't keep them watered and unfortunatly I lost all my strawberry plants :(

I don't know what to do with my stacker pots this year????  I don't want to leave them empty... maybe a pack of pounland water retaining gell will help...???

Hannah :)

Trailing plants will look nice, that's why Brian bought 10 of the quadruple pot ones.  I've got trailing petunias germinating for him at the moment.  But yes, water gel will help, but you have to keep watering, twice a day sometimes.  I got about 11lb from my strawberries last year in those pots!

For anyone with a stacker in need of constant watering, I have a spare toddler who likes to use her watering can many times a day. All we hear is " me help" and " more please" saying that though the strawberries look like they are loving it.

She comes very cheap. I am not introducing her to a hose pipe, we'd end up with a ban.

I've found them to be great value for pots (yup, stacking strawberries here too  ::)) and the green garden bags are very good value for lugging about grass clippings, general rubbish and storing compost.  :) There's a rumor we may be getting our own Poundland this year, so excited!  :D

I keep looking at my dead blueberry bushes, they are dead so why can't I compost them, because I am sure they may just may pull through. Lol

If only you could see them.  ::)

Maybe I am just after the pots they sit in. I have run out of containers, pots, bins to put stuff in.
