Mouse trap
« on: April 21, 2013, 20:35 »
Accidentally found a brilliant mouse trap when I left the lid off a nearly empty mixed grain storage box.
It's a deep plastic box and had  a little bit of mixed grain in the bottom. The mice jumped in but were unable to get out again.
I had 15 mice in mine. I let them go though as I dont mind mice too much.

I have an old tall glass vase that also does the job nicely. I even rig a little wood ramp up to the top of it to help them along. With a bit of bait in the bottom, its too much for them to resist and too tall and slippery to get out of.
