Frost & Fleece
« on: April 19, 2013, 09:13 »
Ive sown the following about a week ago..

Spring onions
Beetroot
Carrots
Spinach
Lettuce

Apart from the carrots there is no sign of germination
Do i need to cover the ground with fleece, considering frost is forcast for the next couple of night?

Thanks

The sort of frost we get now will not affect any of those.

If you have fleece handy it will keep them all a bit warmer. All of them will be content under fleece for some time after they emerge. In fact all except perhaps the onions will quite happily to grow under fleece their whole lives.
