to water or not to water.......
« on: April 16, 2013, 18:30 »
have just potted on some toms(can't remember the variety!) into some multi purpose compost which says 'no need to water for 5 weeks' as it has all the nutrients the plant needs. Is this right or should i follow my instinct and water them in?
It's like a jungle sometimes, it makes me wonder how i keep from going under......

I can't believe it says that!

Of course they'll need water. They may not need any extra nutrients for 5 weeks, but they'll certainly want the wet stuff!
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?
