What kind of sand to grow carrots?
« on: April 09, 2013, 17:37 »
After the past few years of failed carrot crops I've decided to do it properly and add lots of sand to my carrot bed.  Is there certain kinds of sand that should/shouldn't be used?  Was just going to buy few bags of sharp sand from a builders merchant. Would that be ok?

                     Cheers.
