can soft seed potatos be planted with good results? Not rotten, just soft and rubbery to the touch.

I have used them in that condition with good results I would put them in some damp soil

I would think they are fine.

The ones I bought from the garden centre are like that.
When weeding, the best way to know if its a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull it.

If it comes out easy, it was a valuable plant !
