As far as I know BFB is a more or less balanced fertiliser, bonemeal is more a slow-release source of phosphorus (P) having very little nitrogen or potassium.

If you only buy one BFB is a better all-rounder for most veg, although if you have foxes in your area be prepared for lots of holes whichever you use!

It's mainly Nitrogen

Think of Bonemeal as the root builder. Use it where permanent plant's will be grown. Raspberries etc etc.
