I got mine in November and it was a jungle. I was lucky to get a few day so solid digging in straight away before the rain came. In Dec I probably went digging on a few days it was too wet but as I worked backwards I decided it was a risk worth taking. Jan was a washout (and a snow out) but the past week or so I have managed to really get stuck in. Working full time also makes it a lot harder as the weekends always seem to be raining...

I've just got mine and have been luckily enought to start digging this weekend. It's quite sandy soil but was defiantly easier today than yesterday I've now dug 2*4m square. I found raking off the worst of the couch grass really helped too. Have got some onions and garlic in and will sow something fast like radish between these next month. fingers crossed for a dry weekend next week!!
