I use electric pultry netting too and it is dangerous for hedgehogs.  I found a dead one, curled around the netting, one morning - very sad.  It has protected my ducks though.  I lost 3 on different days before I got the netting but I haven't lost any since and the foxes are still around.  I only have 50sq metres for my 4 ducks but I think I'll have to buy some more -their area looks like Flanders during the First World War at the moment because it has been very wet lately and the garden is subject to flooding.
