Yes but no but you can still see in which direction and how quickly the wet stuff is coming your way (or not) - I've found it very useful planning when to do outdoor jobs, especially over the last year or so!!  ;)
Sow your seeds, plant your plants. What's the difference? A couple of weeks or more when answering possible queries!
