I had Marshalls and Garden Organic through yesterday, have to say I am disappointed with Marshalls offerings. Other than their spuds they seem to have very little choice of varieties compared to other suppliers and their price isn't the cheapest either

But have you allowed in your plan for a tropical April and a monsoon-like August?  ;)  our weather in recent years has deemed my early made plans almost useless!

To clarify I said I had a plan.... not a bomb proof, nor fool proof (i am a fool) or in any way tolerant of the barmy weather conditions we may get.

Yes Marshalls is lacking in varities but for now does me a treat, I am just glad to have a plan, started mid way last year and never really got a chance

Yeah must have had 4-5 through the door already (first was straight after boxing day!!!)

Very rarely use these kind of companies though - so expensive for seeds (unless we get some more T&M £5 vouchers again(crosses fingers~))

Use them to look at and for ideas then search the net for best prices

Premier Seeds (ebay) have just reduced their postage and increased their seedcount.

Some are only 60p, They also have a 3 for the price of 2 offer on, so you can get 3 packets for £1.20.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

I started using marshalls last year It was my first year and their website was informative and easy to use, pick up a lot from wilks or end of season stuff in homebase!

I only have the T&M one they are very seductive I've gone through and ringed quite a few.

I've been through all the seeds Ive got swapped some of the ones I wasn't going to use for more interesting plants.

Ive got a list of seeds I "need" and will no doubt find myself in wilko! unles I get time to go to Trago.

there's a potato day down the road from me on the 27th so I'm going to have a look there before buying elsewhere

I buy nearly all of my seeds from Wilkos and B&Q.
Never had bad results using them and as stated they are very cheap!

I still buy from the main suppliers but only what i can't get from Wilkos/B&Q so very little!
