Its very odd and has taken me a while to discover the link. At first I thought it was a coincidence. Basically I have a mains and cordless drill and probably use them 3 or 4 times a week. Everytime I use the cordless drill the cockerel crows. I only noticed this for sure when drilling at around 8pm the other night the cockerel crowed from inside his coop. Has anyone else had similar experiences? 

Its a shame I cant do any evening DIY without rigging up a blimmin extension lead now

he will just be competing with it like they do with other cockerels. The sound of the mains drill must be a different pitch.

I'll try showing him the drill working close up and see if that shuts him up.  :blink:

I have also noticed he is crowing more regulary, I have a feeling someone else down the road has just got a cockerel and they can hear each other possibly. He always crows 5 times in a row, sometimes one or two less but never more. Anyone else find the same?
