Qualcast Lawn Mower
« on: June 30, 2012, 13:28 »
Got a Qualcast Power Trak 34 lawnmower from my father in law. It has died, but I'm hoping to fix it by speculatively replacing the switch mechanism. These are available online.

Only problem is that it doesn't seem to have normal screw connectors for the power cable. These look to be factory sealed and not accessible by make do and menders like me.

Anyone had similar experiences? Query being, if you can't dismantle the original, why do they sell replacements???
Growing salad leaves isn't rocket science.
