Elephant garlic

How do I know when it is ready to harvest?I dug up a few early which were large but solo type bulbs.The rest are flowering but the foliage has only about 1 leaf each that seem to be slightly yellowing.Do I wait for a few more leaves to go as ordinary garlic?
