They support various charities- the one below is the ITP Support Association, which I am a member of as I have ITP- its a disorder that means you have very low levels of Platelets meaning you tend to bruise lots.
It often affects kids and there are no guaranteed cures- and often the treatment is worse than the disease. I am luck in that mine is relatively mild, so just lots of bruising and fatigue, but people can and do die from ITP, and its not great to have a child who cannot play due to the risk of severe bruising.
