Evening All,

Have just joined the site, though have read quite a few of the topics in the past year.....I took on a half plot allotment two years ago, and still learning but happy with successes so far. Currently psyching myself up for the autumn dig over.

I think I recognise one name (Aled) from a game fishing forum....? I am a keen salmon fisherman too.....

Hi Mark and welcome to the forum. Hope the weather is mild enough for a while yet for you to get out on your plot for the end of the season

Frost last night, but we are in the mild corner of Scotland so plenty of time yet for the digging....

Yes, I saw that thread on fishing too. Will perhaps cast a line in there!

Yep I am the same Aled from either the Salmon or Sea Trout Forum. We have a thread here on Fishing in the Chatting on the plot section.

Aled, our season still has another week to go, so I am still hopeful.....but it's been an ok year so far so can't complain!
