Another question, question overload today ::) ::)  So when i get my hens and they start laying for me, there 16wks at the mo, when can you start eating their eggs, i heard that you get all different kinds of egg to begin with in terms of size etc, when you crack open an egg are their any signs to say its a bad egg like blood in an egg, do you get those, im just so used to eating eggs of the supermarket shelves you dont even think about it  nicky

Straight away  :) 1st ones may be a little small and/or no yolk called a wind egg, but you can eat them straight away. Specks of blood sometimes appear but are perfectly edible.
