growers or layers to build up a chook

Ruby has been unwell and has lost aolt of weight. When she is eating properly again should i feed her growers pellets to build her up again or does anyone have any better suggestions.

If she is laying then probably ought to have layers I would have thought. I was recommended to supplement my girls with some cats food to help build them up and get over the moult quicker. Thought it would be good for Ruby too. Tuna is meant to be good too.
