If the seeds are in the peat then will probably just go mouldy.  I would warn you that it takes 5-7 years to grow them from seed to maturity.

The compost for mature plants that I use is Adrian Slack's recommendation:

4 parts moss peat
2 parts seed grade perlite
1 part horticultural sand

Mix the perlite in last.

Only pot in spring.

Just as well I have lots of seeds though, kept em in a small plastic bag when I came back from there

Oh, well I hope they keep until then

Anything I can do to speed things up ?

(put them in a fridge to simulate a winter ? plant em, keep em warm to simulate a spring/summer)
