The bottom of our garden is under water as the dew pond has over flowed and the water has not gone down.We occassionally get water cover here in winter when the shrubs are dormant and there are no problems. This time though the leaves, especially on a ribes shrub , over 2 days ,have shrivelled. Is this probably due to being water logged and do you think they will survive? The automatic response is to cut back the branches but I suspect this would knock these shrubs completly.Any ideas..

Well if was me Annie I would leave well alone and see what happens, do a scratch test near the ends of the branches if it's green under the bark it's still alive.  After that when the grounds dry again do the 3 D's & remove damaged, dead, diseased.
