I used them last year for the first time on the allotment and in the garden. I was seriously impressed and will definitely use them again this year. I watered them on in April and didn't have a slug problem until the Autumn. The little blighters are currently munching through my spring cabbages on the allotment despite lots of organic slug pellets so I can't wait to get them under control again. I don't think they harm wildlife (but I'm sure others will be along soon who might know better).

I have used Nemaslug from Nemasys for two years with great success.  Last year I just tipped the contents into the water but so everything got a dose.

Have been using nematodes on my potato plot for many years now.
Make my own, after someone on here showed the link above. Works well. Have a large bucket with a lid and its working very well now and producing nicely.
Never had a major problem with slugs on my potatoes, but this method removed them completely.

Have a serious look at Plotmaster post, you will save a lot of £££ and they will be fresh, I have made my own 2 times, smelly but worth it, because if they die off you can water them i again from your home brew
