Poorly chicken
« on: May 26, 2009, 23:06 »
Hiya chicken lovers

I am new to your forum so i shall start and say hello.

I have looked after chickens now 2 years after bringing some home after a science project in school when we were looking at the life cycle of a hen x i fell in love with them x it then all started x

My chicken ruby is very poorly.  After researching nearly all day i think she has got coccidiosis she is on medication via verm x and milk.  Will be going to the vet tomorrow for additional mediacation.

Chicken coop cleaned everyday, water changed every day with added vitamins and cider vinegar - so i am really upset by what has happened.

If anyone has any extra advice and guidance it will be very much appreciated. :(

Hi tazzlangridge and welcome to the forum.
How old is your Ruby, how many others do you have and have they got any symptoms?
Staffies are softer than you think.
