Can heavy and medium breeds be housed together?

I have a starlight and a brown hen - can i house a a sussex or an orpington with them. Oh they live in an Ark if that has any bearing on it.

Don't get me wrong as I am far from an expert but I have 2 barnvelders with my Buff Orpingtons and apart from the occasional bit of bullying the barneys hold their own really well (they are quicker on their feet)

I found out yesterday that Handsome, one of my cockerels is a Gold Legbar, and he lives with Wyandotte Bantams, a Pekin Bantam and other normal size chickens, they all get on okay and the Banties are very happy. Mind you they live in a very big coop and have a huge run

Don't know if this helps or not. I know I would'nt put Seabrights in there tho as they are toooo tiny
