We got 2 new off heat buff orpingtons yesterday to keep my 2 8 week old girls company. They are a beautiful colour. Hopefully they are girls, the breeder chose ones he thought were, comparing to the others that he had. Must admit they do look girly but apparently it can take a while for orp boys to show themselves.  He will take a boy back if necessary, so fingers crossed. It was an educational experience going to his site, my 8 year old as well as us were really thrilled to see day olds with mum, broodies on eggs.
Our original girls seemed really spooked at the new arrivals, now we keep finding them snuggled up to the wire of the newbies run.
Hubby has taken the camera to work so will post my pics later.

Buffy's are very pretty!  Hope they are both girls gracie, but it is nice when breeders say they will exchange if any are boys!

Good choice! I don't have any yet but Orps are what we will be hav'ing here. I have been to a few breeders now and the Orps always seems so friendly and nosey. Can't wait to see pics of all four of them together.

Excellent choice!  My buffs are gorgeous!  My 2 are sitting on eggs at the mo-due tomorrow! They're not orps eggs though  which is a shame, maybe next time …  ::)P
