dont panic!! i have a pekin that has always slept up a tree. if they are sensible they will go right up high and mr fox wont get them if they are daft keep a close watch or go out at dusk with a torch find them shut them in and leave them in for a few days.

you havent said  how long you kept them in after getting them. i always keep mine in at least 3 days b4 free ranging them. ( i find it helps them know where bed is and where the food n water is.)

others might have better advice im still new to chook only had them 4 years lol.
good luck let us know how u get on.

If they have been going in ok until now I'd suspect something like red mite in the coop now the temps up they will be out and hungry.

I check mine a least once a week, I go in at night with a torch to see if I can see them, I just use a organic powder that I sprinkle about, and on the hens when they have perched.

What are you treating with ??

Check out the info section Here for  more ideas  :D

mine have been doing the same thing.
They have decided to sleep on top of the coop for the past month.
I know for sure there are no mites. Before they slept inside for about a year. Have no idea what to do, but i let them roll how they want

-If it doesn't fit;force it. If it breaks; you needed a new one anyway
-Borrow money from pessimist; they don't expect it back
