Dahlia's
« on: June 15, 2017, 21:26 »
When digging plot tonight, dug up roots of last years dahlias.
My plot neighbour gave me few plants last year and I forgot they were there. If I replant them, presume they will grow?
Didn't get chance to do anything with them as bit late when I found them.
Hope this isn't silly question, my knowledge of flowers is bit minimal  :D

They should grow. But they should be well up and growing by now. Are there any signs of growth on them?

Thanks for reply.
Green root on one of them but others have no growth on them at all. Just pale roots/bulbs.
Suppose I have nothing to lose if I replant them so did that tonight. Had a gap where garlic hadn't grown so nothing lost  ;)
Fingers crossed.
