He also wrote 'State of grace', and I have that on one of his albums with him doing the singing - you will know it and hopefully own it, as it ain't on YouTube sadly...

I remember when he was in the Spencer Davis group that did "Keep on Running." Not wishing to detract from your post, Mr Growster, but OH finally worked out how to use his CD player in the car, so I was treated to listen to one I got him for XXmass. Kate Bush's "Wuthering Heights" is completely, utterly, and literally out of this world.

Her later songs made her my favourite girl singer - perhaps after Judy Collins, Goosey.
