Title: skip diving!

came across a skip today and  'recycled' 20lb in weight of copper! its cone streight in my brass and copper bin that i save till christmass week!
i do so love a good skip!

Given that I have to buy copper piping  for the shop on a weekly basis and each week the price has risen you're on to a good thing there.

nice one fish, just be careful skip diving without permission is ilegal (stupid law) some peope get realy funny about it.
iv got 25 guys that always bring back scrap from building sites for me, i buy them a drink at Christmas, but i make a small fortune!!

We are having HUGE trouble round here with scumbags pinching lead and copper from rooves etc. Churches have been targeted and schools. There were a couple of Polish blokes who have been fined for taking the metal containers for flowers in graveyards. They sold forty of them for a pittance causing enormous upset for the families of the dead. :x

is copper worth that amount as i have about 10stone in a couple of recyle tubs  and was just going to skip it  :shock:   :shock:

last time i went it was £2000 a ton (i think)
